START PAC Diesel-Electric hybrid Start Pac Hi-Brd™ 4

Self Propelled Diesel Electric Hi-Brid 4 – Do you need starting capabilities and continuous power away from the hangar? Then the Hi-BRD4 is for you. This START PAC is an autonomous GPU combination with a diesel powered power supply for avionics and a battery bank for engine starting for operators who do not have easy access to an AC power supply and need a powerful solution for jump starting and maintenance checks. This Hi-BRD4 autonomous GPU is self-propelled making it ideal for operations that do not always have access to a tug but need to have the ability to easily walk the unit to the aircraft out on the ramp. This unique feature makes this eco-friendly 26 volt ground power unit simple and easy to manoeuvre on the ramp for shorter distances and yet it can still be towed over longer distances.

Please note that there is a non self-propelled variant available. The START PAC® Hi-BRD 4 combination GPU is equipped with eco-friendly diesel engine (3 cylinder, 23.5hp) and permanent magnet generator to provide you with up to 300 Amps of clean, continuous, no duty cycle power for running aircraft high draw systems, for training, maintenance or software download purposes. It enables maintenance to be carried out on various cockpit systems such as inverters, avionics, GPS and on board air conditioning.
